For 'Change Scenarios', the 'year' and/or 'season' selection(s) refer to MAPPING DISPLAY ONLY. To display the mapped results of a change scenario, select a timestep (year and/or season) that is consistent with the user-specified changes in base or reference conditions; the changes can be input from an external forecasting .csv file or expressed as a percentage change in conditions using menu options below). Additional year(s) and/or season(s) may be selected for display to compare historical results with those for the change scenario simulations of model predictions.

Run Scenario using forecasting file input

'Yes' inputs a user-created *.csv file with forecasted Source, Landuse, and/or Delivery Factor data for a future year and/or season. The forecasted data are linked to a base or reference set of 'waterids' (reach and time steps) that currently exist in the model and are required to execute a forecast scenario.
'No' allows a user to select a base or reference set of 'waterids' (reach and time steps) for inclusion in the change scenarios. Using menu options below, the selection must specify both target reaches as well as the percentage change factors that are applied to the model data and/or coefficients. Change factors can be applied separately to the Source and Delivery model variables, including the option to sub-select reaches and/or time steps using 'dataDictionary' variables.

Enter forecast scenario filename

Input ONLY the file name into the box below. The file should be located in the user's RSPARROW ~/data directory. A copy of the the file will be stored in the ~results/scenarios/(scenario_name)/ directory when the scenario is run, but may be overwritten if a scenario with the same name is run multiple times.

Select Target Reach Watersheds

"default" = run scenario for watersheds above the original outlet reaches (i.e., based on the user-defined terminal reaches for the network)
"waterid1" or "waterid1, waterid2, ..." = run scenario for watersheds above a single or mulitple outlet reach(es), based on the 'waterid' system variable
"import" = run scenario for watersheds above flagged outlet reaches, imported from ~/scenarios/flag_TargetReachWatersheds.csv (with flag = 1 )
